IGNATIUS VICTOR RAJENDRA
Brewer
I am a Brewer by profession having worked in Malaysia for the last 45 years with tenures at a local brewery affiliated with Heineken and Diageo.
From my first designation as a brewing supervisor to my last position as a Lager Brewer, I was constantly exposed to the technology, science and engineering of beer brewing, gaining much of the knowledge and experience from hands-on activities. There were ‘many-a-slip’ and ‘splashes’ which taught me not to take anything for granted.
As I shifted away from mainstream brewing and sharing my expertise with others less exposed to the technology, the experience gained was immense as now I became a teacher and a trainer.
Branching out as a craft brewer opened up a new frontier and the learning curve just dropped down. Picking up now to run an entrepreneurship in my new challenge and looking forward to the many 'knocks and dents'.
